Fact, Fiction and a Question
Fact: Hate hurts.
Fiction: Hate is good.
Fact: Hate hurts the Hater.
Fact: Hate also hurts the Hated.
Question: If the Hated is oblivious to the fact that they are being hated, does the Hate hurt them?
Question: If the Hated is oblivious to the fact that they are being hated, and they are not being hurt, does the Hate still hurt the Hater?

Falling……
I am at the Munson Library in Amherst.
An elderly lady who was looking at DVD’s just had an accident. When she walked in, she was shaky, and she can’t bring her arms above her shoulders.
Then she fell down, and she screamed. It was really scary. Then she hit her head on a metal box. She was trying to get up and go home, but now the ambulance is here. She’s crying. She is 89 years old.
She is really brave
Don’t fall.

Niki Sremac and a Followup On Happiness
Niki Sremac is one of two people I took to NEFFA this year. Niki LOVES contra dancing and swing dancing. Next year at NEFFA, I am going to take her to the swing workshop, and we will make her dance with the guy who has “poofpoof” chest hair with “strings everywhere”! Hehe. No, actually, she can show me how to swing dance.
Niki is awesome because she avoids conflicts. She has so many friends, and almost every one uses her to confide in. Why? Because Niki can keep a secret. That is one of the best things about her. You can really trust her. 200%. It’s amazing because there are not many people in anyone’s life that you can fully trust.
Niki plays piano, in case you were wondering. Also, she goes to Amherst High School.
Another amazing thing about Niki is that she is willing to treat people who are younder than she is as equals. Like when I invited her to NEFFA, she didn’t mid that she was the oldest, and she didn’t go off into a moody funk, or get bossy, or try to be mom-ish. That’s a really important quality as an older sister. I know from experience how hard it is no to treat everyone as if they were a million years younger than I am, even when they are. It is really hard.
And lastly, Niki is an incredible musician. She’s amazing!
Followup on happiness:
Can you sqeeze happiness out of everything? Is there happiness in hate? Or anger? Or abuse? Maybe you can only take love from positive things, but you cancertainly use love to wipe out the negative things. I don’t thin that you can get any love from shomeone who hurts you, but you can use your love to heal thier anger. Also, anger stems from a bad or abusive chidlhood. Maybe you can help angry people heal thier scars that make them hurt. That’s the only way you can take love from negativity, you can help the negativity to dissovle, diluting it with love.

I really don’t know.
Is my blog so boring that you cannot bear to post on it anymore?!?!?!?!?!?! (not you, Niki)
JUST wondering…
Niki Sremac (who went to neffa with me), said something awesome about happiness (if you want me to tae it off, Niki, tell me):
Written by: Niki
Comment text: I myself am not sure exactly what happiness is, but I know that in order to be happy you need to enjoy every good thing that happens to you, no matter how small it is. It’s like, you have to squeeeeze the joy out of every little thing, like toothpaste out of the tube, and absorb them all. Example: The fact that it’s spring is very happy, and is adding to my happy mood of the moment.
I think that’s amazing. How does she think about that? I know for a fact that it’s really hard to face love.
I will do a post about Niki soon, as Makeda needs the computer now… But she is really nice, like Hannah…..

“Tell me about it…..”
Toilet paper:
How many rolls does your family use per week? 3. We have 6 people living with us!
Tofutti:
Do you like it? Tofutti! *drooling* YUMMAY!
Dried apricots:
What do you think of them? Love sucking on the skin. Can conly eat halfs at a time, or I feel sick.
Mint tea:
Refreshing or not? Delish!
Honey-Lemon tea:
Good for a sore throat? Definately!
My answers are in blue. If you have an idea for a “tell me about it”, email me. You know what it is….. POST LIKE MAD, TOO! You know you want to!!!!!!!
Leadership, Love, Disconnection…
Leadership: Try not to be so self-centered. Let the most experienced lead, and follow. Because one day, you will be a leader too. Take authourity over a chaotic situation. Be a leader. Leaders are the ones we all look up to in life, and if you choose not to lead, you must follow. That’s all there is to it. But there is no choice of NOT leading anything at all. You must lead youself, and decide whether or not you will follow.
Love: You need to pour love out of every pore in your body. You need sich a high level of love in you, that it should be the only thing in you. Overpowering love for others. Love, love, love. Anyone will tell you to put others first, and youself second. But why does noone do that then? Because we do not have enough love to give ohters before ourselves. We think that we will have run out of love for ourselves. We are afraid, that when we give love, we won’t get any in return.
Disconnection: We all go to sleep in a land of disconnection. We separate, and only come together when we meet. And only if “we feel like it”. Disconnection is an awful form of disrespect, self-centeredness and self-judgement. Without connection, nothing. Nothing gets done. Nothing gets started! One defining characteristic of our generation is disrespect. We have no respect for each other and ourselves. There is not repect becuase there is no connection. No one can connect. Why? Because they go to sleep in a land of disconnection. Every. Single. Night.
Think about it.
